MatSu Compass started from a simple observation: visitors would fly into Anchorage and head straight for Denali or Seward, completely bypassing some of the best scenery, fishing, and adventures Alaska has to offer, all right here in the Mat-Su Valley.
As a longtime Mat-Su Valley resident, I watched travelers miss out on the Matanuska Glacier, Hatcher Pass, the Talkeetna River, and dozens of world-class experiences that are often closer, less crowded, and more affordable than the headline destinations.
MatSu Compass was created to change that. We are part guide service, part adventure concierge, and fully committed to helping visitors experience the real Alaska.
