1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms of Service apply when you use matsucompass.com to ask about a custom experience, transportation, itinerary, or related service and when you accept a written MatSu Compass quote. They work together with the service details and policies in that quote. If a service-specific term in an accepted quote conflicts with these general terms, the quote controls for that service.

Direct cabin reservations are separate. Cabin availability, payments, changes, cancellations, and guest communications are handled at stay.matsucompass.com under its rental terms and privacy disclosures.

2. Inquiries and Written Quotes

Sending an inquiry does not reserve a date, create a booking, or require payment. After reviewing your request, we may send a written quote. A quote should identify:

• The proposed service, date, timing, group, and meeting or pickup arrangements.
• The total quoted price and any taxes or other charges.
• What is included and any guest-supplied clothing, equipment, or information.
• Any identified provider and any additional terms that apply to that provider.
• The payment deadline and the cancellation and rescheduling terms for that experience.

Availability and pricing may change until the quote is accepted and the required payment is successfully completed. Ask us to correct any missing or unclear term before paying.

3. Confirmation and Card Payment

Once you confirm the written quote, MatSu Compass will provide a secure Square payment link for card payment. The inquiry form does not collect card details. Your experience is confirmed only when Square reports the required payment as completed and we send a confirmation. Pay only through the Square link associated with your confirmed quote unless we provide different instructions in writing for that quote.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

MatSu Compass does not publish one universal cancellation schedule for every custom experience. The written quote will disclose the cancellation, refund, rescheduling, no-show, and weather-related terms that apply before you pay. By completing payment, you accept those disclosed terms. To request a change or cancellation, contact us promptly; approval, availability, price changes, credits, and refunds are determined under the accepted quote.

5. Weather, Safety, and Operational Changes

Alaska weather, access, transportation, wildlife, and other conditions can change. MatSu Compass or an identified service provider may change, delay, shorten, relocate, or cancel an activity when reasonably necessary for safety or operations. Any rescheduling, credit, or refund will follow the terms in the accepted quote and applicable law.

6. Guest Information and Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate dates, group details, contact information, and any information reasonably needed to assess the request. Before accepting a quote, tell us about ages, mobility or accessibility needs, relevant health concerns, and other limitations that may affect participation. Guests must follow lawful safety instructions and bring the clothing, personal items, and equipment identified as guest responsibilities in the quote or confirmation.

7. Providers, Inclusions, and Third-Party Terms

Some requests may involve an independent operator or other third party. When applicable, the written quote will identify the known provider, included services, and any additional provider terms you must accept. Website descriptions alone do not guarantee a particular guide, credential, vehicle, permit, equipment item, admission, or other fee. Only items confirmed in your written quote are included.

8. Website Information and Acceptable Use

Website information is provided to help you explore possibilities and may not reflect real-time availability, conditions, or final pricing. Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or submit false or unlawful requests.

9. Privacy and Updates

Our Privacy Policy explains how this website handles personal information. We may update these terms for future use of the website. The effective date at the top identifies the current version; changes do not rewrite a quote already accepted unless you agree to the change or the law requires it.
